Very productive morning dropping leaflets in to all shops that were open and some market stalls. Spoke at length to a lot of concerned local people about the campaign. Raised awareness about the wording that the powers that be are using regarding ‘services’. I.e. They are saying that Leek won’t lose these services. They never say the ‘hospital’ and they obviously have plans but at the moment are not very forthcoming with the answers. I have asked everyone to spread the word to ask people to put pen to paper and write to the three addresses stated on our website. The petition is great but that just raises awareness. You, the people have to act and WRITE stating your experiences. More leaflets will be available this week from the Blue Mugge. Thank you.
